Bigham’s place their people at the core of everything they do, making active strides to ensure employees feel valued and appreciated. However, delivering a manual peer-to-peer recognition programme alongside a separate digital benefits app was challenging due to a geographically dispersed team.   

With 60% of employees being deskless, Bigham’s needed an employee engagement solution that streamlined both recognition and benefits, whilst reaching all corners of their workforce split between London and Somerset.   • Discounted vouchers: Instant purchasing through an in-platform marketplace of over 150 retailers providing significant savings, including up to 5% off supermarket shops and 12% off in leading restaurants.  
  • Feedback and surveys: Dynamic employee feedback loops enabled through surveys, polls, and idea submissions.  
  • Reporting dashboard: Trackable programme impact and engagement trends via live data insights.

In its first six weeks, ‘The Pantry’ soon evidenced an enhanced employee engagement solution:

  • 25% employee registration rate within 4 days of platform launch.  
  • 45% employee registration rate by December 2022. 
  • 6,500+ platform interactions.   
  • Over 70 recognitions sent, during a period of only 54 days 
  • £2,500 spent on discounted vouchers in less than 4 weeks, creating collective savings of over £300. 
  • Over 33% of registered users have visited the employee benefits page.
