Rippl and HGS UK have been crowned double winners in the 2025 UK Employee Experience Awards!
In partnership with the brilliant team behind HGS UK, we are delighted to have the ‘Ignite’ engagement programme recognised in its impact for:
- Best Reward & Recognition (Gold Winner), commending outstanding initiatives that effectively acknowledge and celebrate colleague achievements, boost motivation and reinforce positive performance.

The Awards
Bringing together all 2025 Finalists and Judges at its annual ceremony in Central London, the UK Employee Experience Awards were first established in 2015 to honour businesses going the extra mile in delivering outstanding initiatives that create better workplaces for all.
And to be named as a Winner after a rigorous and comprehensive judging process, we are delighted to have the impact of the ‘Ignite’ recognised in achieving just this.

Ignite: Reimagining employee recognition & reward by delivering on a shared vision to create an exceptional workplace
Part of the multi-billion-dollar conglomerate Hinduja Group, HGS is a global leader in optimising the customer experience lifecycle, digital transformation, business process management and digital media ecosystem.
Behind HGS UK are 750 colleagues who majorly operate in a remote and hybrid call centre model. Without the organic interactions of a traditional office environment, HGS were looking to improve employee engagement, champion visible appreciation and restore connection in their UK People strategy.
A culture of appreciation has long been established at HGS UK, with an existing recognition and reward programme hosted by a platform provider. However, this was under-delivering in its impact and cost-efficiency, leading HGS to re-assess their approach. Plus, insights from their 2024 People Survey and live Listening Tour identified Appreciation & Recognition, Health & Wellbeing, and Cost of Living Support as three leading People Priorities for 2025. From this, HGS created a brand new 5 Pillar Recognition Strategy that would form the framework of their programme moving forward – and this is where Rippl came in.
Together we shaped a fresh approach to:
- Enhance colleague access to discounts and benefits, with further enhanced savings on supermarket shops to further support with the cost of living.
- Provide better opportunity for colleagues to feel appreciated by peers and managers.
- Create a positive place for HGS UK to connect, build community and feel united.
- Enable more opportunity for reward activities, initiatives and competitions.
- Boost programme adoption and improve business ROI.
