And Rippl’s brilliant Managing Director, Chris Brown, has been named Entrepreneur of the Year in the SoGlos 2023 Business Awards!

Celebrating excellence from organisations, teams and individuals across Gloucestershire, the 2023 SoGlos Business Awards received over 150 entries this year from start-up trailblazers to the top 100 players in the county.

Earlier this year, Rippl was proudly shortlisted for Most Innovative Business of the Year, alongside Chris who was recognised as one of five Finalists for Entrepreneur of the Year. The award commends inspirational leaders, from first-timers to seasoned risk takers, who combine vision with innovation to achieve commercial success. At October’s Ceremony held at Gloucester South Community Fire and Rescue Station, Chris was proudly announced as winner.

Here’s what the judges had to say:

“’Visionary’ Managing Director of software company Rippl, Chris Brown, has driven the company to remarkable heights, in no small part thanks to his idea of introducing employee benefits to its offering in November 2022.

This innovation, spearheaded by Brown, led to a 70 per cent increase in customers; a 35 per cent increase in revenue since November 2022; and a British HR Award for Rippl, as well as increased employee engagement, better staff retention and a reduction in HR-related operational time for the platform’s clients, proving how powerful company culture can be for the bottom line.”

This is a real testament to Chris’ passion for leading our fantastic team to deliver on Rippl’s mission of creating happier, more motivated, more productive employees across the globe.
